UPDATE – Man and Woman Shot Sunday –

Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 6:30am in the North End of Winnipeg on Sunday morning.

Shots rang out near Magnus Avenue and Aikins Street in the early hours. A man and a woman were seriously injured but are now in hospital in stable condition. A third person, a male youth, was also injured but was treated and released.

Police say that the victims were shot at while in a vehicle. The driver of this vehicle was able to transport the victims to hospital immediately after the shooting.

Police are not releasing the descriptions of the suspects.
