As News4 reported last week, on June 22, 2016 around 3:30 in the morning a 50 year old man was rescued from a burning home on Aberdeen Ave in Winnipeg’s North End.
David Sanderson, had been assaulted prior to the fire being set. He was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
June 25, 2016 police arrested two suspects and have charged them for their alleged invovement to the fire and murder.
Billy-Joe LINKLATER, 21 years, has been charged with:
- Murder – Second Degree
- Arson – Disregard for Human Life
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Lorie KNOTT, 21 years, has been charged with:
- Murder – Second Degree
- Arson – Disregard for Human Life
Both accused have been remanded into custody.
