Winnipeg Police have laid charges in a Tyndall Avenue homicide that happened Thursday evening, December 6, 2018.
Police say they were called to a residence after a 38-year-old woman had been stabbed. She was taken to hospital with severe upper body injuries and died soon afterwards.
The victim has been identified as Lisa Marie Kubiea from Winnipeg.
A suspect was taken into custody shortly after the stabbing. Investigators say that she had gone to the victim’s home with a weapon and confronted her about past issues and seriously assaulted her.
Phyllis Dawn Pascal, 45 from Winnipeg has been charged with Second Degree Murder for her alleged involvement.
She was detained in custody.
