Teen selling cell phone robbed at gunpoint

Two females are in custody after they allegedly robbed a teen at gunpoint.

Police say that around 5:00 pm on December 31, 2019, a 17-year-old female went to a residence in the 300 block of Salter Street to sell a cell phone she had listed online.

When she arrived she was invited inside the residence. At this point, a firearm was pointed at the teen and she was robbed of the phone before she could flee.

Police were called and found a loaded sawed-off .22 calibre rifle just outside the suite.

Police obtained and executed a search warrant on the residence and seized .22 calibre ammunition, small amounts of cocaine and Meth as well as the stolen cell phone.

Chelsey Dawn Osborne, 21 and Kelly Marie Kroeker, 27 both face a number of weapon and drug-related charges for their alleged involvement.

Osborne is facing additional charges of Armed Robbery using a Restricted Firearm or Prohibited Firearm and Use of Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence.

Both suspects were detained in custody.
