Police raided a home in the 400 block of Magnus Avenue on Friday, November 10, 2017, in search of an illegal weapon.
Officers seized two sawed-off weapons, a 12 gauge pump-action shotgun and a .45-40 lever-action rifle. They also seized 18 shotgun shell and 22 .45-70 cartridges.

25-year-old Stevie Ray Ballantyne from Winnipeg was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement with:
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x4)
- Careless Storage of Firearm (x2)
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations (x2)
- Possession of a Weapon (x2)
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (x2)
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition (x2)
- Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime (x2)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was detained in custody.
