A 14-year-old male and a 16-year-old male are facing robbery and weapons charges after the pair allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old male before trying to rob him on Monday, July 18, 2022.

Officers arrived on the scene in the 300 block of Arlington Street around 9:40 pm and found the male suffering from stab wounds. Police provided emergency medical care and used a cheat seal on the victim. The male was taken to the hospital in unstable condition but later upgraded to stable.

Two suspects were located nearby and arrested. A search of the suspects found a knife on one of them.

Investigators believe that the victim had been walking in the area when he was confronted. The suspects punched and stabbed the victim as they attempted to steal the victims property.

Both teen were detained in custody.
