Two teen males facing charges in St. Anne’s Road robbery

A pair of 15-year-old males are facing 16 firearm and robbery related charges after they allegedly pointed a gun at a family and robbed them.

Police say the incident happened around 11:15 pam on Tuesday, March 1 in the 300 block of St Anne’s Road. A mother and her three children between the ages of 12 and 17 were walking along the sidewalk when one of the children bumped into one of the accused as they passed each other on the sidewalk. The child was pushed to the ground by the male as the second male pulled out a gun and pointed it at the family. The male then demanded their property and threatened to shoot them. The suspects then fled.

Responding officers searched the area and quickly found two suspects further along St. Anne’s Road. The pair had the stolen property in their possession along with a sawed-off .22 calibre firearm.

Both teens were detained in custody.
