RCMP are investigating a serious collision in Sandy Lake, Manitoba involving two SUVs and a house.
Sandy Lake is about 265 kilometres west of Winnipeg.
RCMP say that around 4:00 pm Friday afternoon, October 16, 2020 two SUV’s were speeding through town when they collided with each other, lost control then slammed into a nearby house.
The crash caused significant damage to both vehicles and the house. Fortunately, no one was inside the home at the time of the collision.
The 25-year-old driver of a silver SUV along with one of his passengers, a 21-year-old suffered serious injuries. The second passenger, a 32-year-old male suffered minor injuries,
The driver of the second vehicle, a 25-year-old female, along with her two passengers, a 24-year-old female and a 27-year-old male all suffered serious injuries.
RCMP believe that speed and alcohol played a roll in the collision.
Police continue to investigate.
