Two suspects wanted from an armed home invasion in Selkirk

RCMP in Selkirk is searching for two suspects who are wanted in an armed home invasion on June 28, 2023.

Investigators say that around 5:50 am three male suspects, one of them armed with a firearm, broke into a home on Morris Avenue in Selkirk and confronted the homeowner. A gunshot was fired to him and the suspects fled. The homeowner was not physically injured.

On June 29 one of the suspects was arrested without incident.

37-year-old Roderick Stevenson 37, has been charged for his alleged involvement with Discharge Firearm with Intent, Assault with a Weapon, Breaking and Entering with Intent and Careless Use of Firearm. He was detained in custody.

Two other suspects have been identified and are wanted by police.

Warrants of Arrest have been issued for Chad Hayden Langlois, 38 and 28-year-old Justice Sydney Langlois. Both men have been charged for their alleged involvement with Discharge Firearm with Intent, Assault with a Weapon, Breaking and Entering with Intent and Careless Use of Firearm. Chad also faces three counts of Weapons Possession Contrary to Order and five counts of Fail to Comply. Justice has also been charged with Fail to Comply and Disobeying Court Order.

Police say that the two suspects are considered armed and dangerous and must not be approached. If you see them call police immediately.
