Two 20-year-old Winnipeg men are facing property-related charges after police say they were driving a stolen vehicle.
Around 2:30 am on Friday, September 16, 2022, officers responded to the southeast part of the city after receiving reports that a vehicle was driving erratically and had collided with several parked vehicles.
Officers located the vehicle still running but abandoned at the intersection of De La Seigneurie Boulevard and Bishop Grandin Boulevard. The suspects had fled the area in a taxi.
About 30 minutes later a cab with the two suspects onboard returned to the intersection. Officers stopped the cab and place both suspects under arrest. Police seized keys to the stolen vehicle along with a can of bear spray
