Two Students Injured as School Bus Veers Off Roadway

A school bus carrying 19 students from kindergarten to grade 12 veered off Dunning Road in the Rural Municipality of St. Clements this morning, resulting in minor injuries to two students.

Red River North RCMP received a report of the single-vehicle collision at approximately 8:25 am on March 21, 2025. Investigations suggest the incident occurred sometime between 7:20 am and 8:20 am.

According to RCMP reports, the school bus, transporting students of various ages, left the roadway for reasons currently under investigation. The driver was able to regain control of the vehicle and continue the bus route.

Two students sustained minor injuries during the incident. The ages of the injured students have not been released.

RCMP have confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the collision.

The Red River North RCMP are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
