At 3:28 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) crews were dispatched to an industrial facility in the 0 to 100 block of Panet Road following reports of a fire and a medical emergency.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a small fire which was promptly extinguished.
Paramedics on scene assessed and treated two individuals who were working at the facility and sustained injuries. One individual was transported to hospital in unstable condition, while the second was transported in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation but is believed to be accidental at this time.
