Two new cases of COVID-19, 76 cases active

On Thursday, July 30, 2020, Manitoba Public Health announced two new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the province as of 9:30 am. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases of the virus in Manitoba is 409.

Both new cases are in men in their 30s in the Prairie Mountain health region

There are currently six people being treated in hospital for COVID-19 with four of those in intensive care.

There are currently 76 active cases with 325 people listed as recovered in the province.

The number of deaths related to the virus in Manitoba is eight.

1,179 laboratory tests were completed on Tuesday, bringing the total number of tests completed since early February to 87,548.
