RCMP has arrested and charged two more people in connection to the murder of Gerhard Reimer-Wiebe.
Reimer-Wiebe’s body was found on June 24, 2020, near Baker Street in Portage la Prairie.
Investigators arrested and charged two men at the end of July. 29-year-old Kyle Evan Sinkovits and 25-year-old Jonathan Bradley Narvey both from Winnipeg were charged for their alleged involvement with First Degree Murder, Forcible Confinement and Indignity to a Dead Human Body.

Police have made two additional arrests in connect to the murder. On August 5, 2020, Bobbi Lynn Hall, age 26 was taken into custody. The next day police arrested 24-year-old Chelsea O’Hanley. Hall and O’Hanley are both from Winnipeg and have been charged for their alleged involvement with First Degree Murder, Forcible Confinement and Indignity to a Dead Human Body.
Police say that the four people charged are the four people captured in surveillance video at a Portage la Prairie convenience store.
Police say that they believe Reimer-Wiebe was killed at a home on Alfred Street in Winnipeg before his body was transported to Portage la Prairie by the accused.
“It is my hope that the first-degree murder charges against these four individuals brings some closure to Gerhard’s young family, his relatives and friends” said Superintendent Michael Koppang, Officer in Charge of Major Crime Services for the Manitoba RCMP. “To have four charges of first-degree murder laid in this investigation speaks to the professionalism and dedication of every single officer and civilian who worked on this file. I want to thank them for their tenacity and perseverance throughout this investigation.”
