Two more cases of COVID-19 identified in Winnipeg on Monday

Manitoba Public Health announced on Monday, June 29, 2020, that there are two new cases of COVID-19 identified in the province. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases is 324.

On Saturday the province announced four new cases of COVID-19. Those cases were two men in their 30s and one man in his 40s from the Winnipeg health region, and one man in his 30s from the Southern Health region. Today’s cases are a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, both from the Winnipeg health region.

Public health says that these cases are related to travel or are close contacts with previously reported cases.

There are no people with the virus in hospital

Currently, there are 17 active cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba 300 people have been listed as recovered.

The death toll from COVID-19 in Manitoba remains at seven.

 789 laboratory tests were performed on Friday, with 1,021 on Saturday and 471 on Sunday. This brings the total number of tests performed since early February to 63,056.
