Winnipeg Police Service is investigating after two men were seriously injured after a group of men stabbed and attempted to rob them near Provencher Boulevard and Tache Avenue early Saturday morning, September 16, 2023.

Police say that three men were walking to their vehicle when a group of four males confronted them. The suspects attempted to rob them and during the confrontation stabbed two of the victims causing serious injuries. The victims fled and called police.

When officers arrived they provided emergency medical care to the victims until paramedics arrived. The victims were taken to hospital in unstable condition but later upgraded to stable. The suspects fled before police arrived.
