The WPS Major Crimes Unit is investigating after the discovery of two stabbing victims at an apartment in the 600 block of Maryland Street.
Officers were called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. on January 17, 2022. The victims, both adult males in their 20s, were found inside the complex, seriously injured and losing blood. Officers provided emergency medical care until paramedics arrived and took them to hospital. Initially in critical condition, the men were upgraded to stable condition.
The investigation led police to one particular suite in the building. It continues, and police are asking anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
