Winnipeg Police are investigating two separate assaults overnight that sent two males to hospital.
Young Street Assault
Around 11:40 pm on Friday March 19, 2021, officers, including members of the Tactical Support Team responded to the assault of an adult male in the 400 block of Young Street.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police say that no arrests have been made but officers continue to investigate.
Victor Street Assault
Just over an hour later around 12:55 am on Saturday March 20, an adult male was assaulted in the 400 block of Victor Street.
Police responded with more than a dozen officers. When they arrived they found the victim suffering with multiple wounds including wounds to the head.
Paramedics treated the victim on scene then transported him to the hospital. He is in stable condition.
Two people have been arrested.
