Early Wednesday morning, August 24, 2022, Winnipeg police patrolling in the River Heights neighbourhood came across two people carrying four bicycles near Corydon Avenue and Oxford Street.
The officers identified the two people and learned that one of them had an outstanding warrant. The pair were placed under arrest.
Officers seized drugs, weapons, identity documents and stolen cheques during a search of the pair.
43-year-old Ian Lagrosas Galeon was charged for his alleged involvement with drug, stolen property and breach-related offences.
32-year-old Whitney Larissa Bunn was charged for her alleged involvement with drug and weapons offences as well as a Warrant for Failing to Attend Court.
Both were detained in custody.
The owners of the bicycles have not been established
