Winnipeg Police responded to a Strongarm robbery and assault on Balmoral Street at Sargent Avenue early Sunday morning.
Witnesses told News 4 that a group of people assaulted a the victim before fleeing.
Police arrived within minutes and quickly had two youths in custody. One of the suspects could be seen being escorted across Balmoral by officers with what appeared to be wire from a taser attached to him and trailing on the roadway.
Paramedics treated one of the suspects before he was place in a patrol unit and taken away.
A Winnipeg Police spokesperson told New 4 in an email that the victim did not require medical attention.
