A 22-year-old male and a 17-year-old female are facing robbery and weapons charges after they were allegedly involved in a serious assault and robbery early Wednesday morning, June 1, 2022.

Police say that around 2:00 am a male in his 30s was walking in the 300 block of Ross Avenue when he was approached by two suspects. The pair robbed the male of his property and stabbed him.

An area resident witnessed the assault and called police. Officers found the seriously injured male and provided emergency medical care. The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.

Officers were able to locate the two suspects and place then into custody. The suspects still had the victim’s property in their possession when they were arrested.
