Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews were busy with two fires set only minutes apart on the same north end lane.

A fully involved garage fire in the 800 block of Selkirk Avenue late Sunday night, May 19, 2019, had firefighters busy when they noticed a rubbish fire across and a block down the lane behind a home on Flora.

The garage fire was quickly knocked down.

The rubbish fire spread to a garage but was also quickly put out.

WFPS say that crews checked other garages in the area but found no other fire.

Both fires are under investigation.
