Two dead, one seriously injured in Highway 44 collision

RCMP from Lac du Bonnet was called to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 44 on Saturday, December 7, 2019.

Police say that around 2:30 pm a car travelling eastbound crossed the centreline and collided with a westbound pickup truck.

It happened about one kilometre east of Seddon’s Corner.

The 24-year-old female driver of the car was seriously injured. Her two passengers, a 24-year-old female from the RM of St. Clements and a 23-year-old male from Winnipeg died at the scene.

The two people in the pickup, a 55-year-old male and a 50-year-old female were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

RCMP continue to investigate.
