RCMP say that two seniors are dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 8 in the RM of St. Andrews.

Police were called to the scene near Provincial Road 230 around 11:40 am on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

Investigators say that a vehicle being driven by a 73-year-old man from Stonewall was in the northbound lane of the highway driving southbound when it collided head-on with a northbound vehicle being driven by a 66-year-old man from the RM of Gimli.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. They were the only occupants of the vehicles.

RCMP continue to investigate.
