RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle rollover that claimed the life of a 28-year-old male and a 30-year-old female on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
Police say they were called to the scene of the collision after a passerby noticed a vehicle flipped onto its roof and submerged in water in a ditch beside Highway 8.
Riverton Fire Department and emergency services responded to the scene.
The victims, both from Morden, were found in the vehicle and police say they were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP continue to investigate.
