Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a man (29) and a woman (30) in connection to a fire in the 400 block of Furby Street on July 8,2019.
The fire caused $50,000 in damage to the building. The residents were able to evacuate the the building and no injuries were reported.
Police arrested the female suspect at the scene of the fire and found she had a lighter. The second suspect was located two days later.
Police say the female had been evicted from a suite in the building prior to the fire and had returned with the male and touched the suite.
Both suspects were detained in custody.
