Two charged in drug trafficking investigation

Two suspects taken into custody as part of a drug trafficking investigation.

Winnipeg Police Service Tacical Support team executed a warrant at the home of a man who was the subject of the investigation. On October 7, 2023, officers searched the home in the 400 block of Prichard Avenue.

Officers seized a number of items including:

  • Air Rifles x 2
  • Air Pistols x 2
  • Approximately 67 rounds of Various Ammunition
  • Approximately 2.5 Grams of Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value: $375)
  • Approximately 4 Grams of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value: $200)
  • Approximately 3 Grams of Crack Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $150)
  • Bicycles x 27 (Believed to be Stolen)
  • Motorcycle x 2 (Believed to be Stolen)
  • Department of National Defense issued Body Armour (Turned over to Military Police)
  • Packaging Materials
  • Contaminated Drug Scales

53-year-old Jamie August Richaud and 32-year-old Joshua Corey Delaurier were charged for their alleged involvement with a number of weapon and drug offences.

Police continue the investigation.
