TWO ARRESTED IN MURDER CASE, POLICE STILL LOOKING FOR ONE SUSPECT

 

 

Police need help finding last suspect in murder case

 

 

 

 

 

Two youth have been charge with second degree murder and police are still looking for an adult suspect. The three were allegedly involved in the homicide of Canon Franklin Beardy on February 6, 2017 in the 500 block of Magnus Avenue.

Police have arrested a 16 year old male and charged him with second degree murder, possess proceeds of crime and flight from a police officer as well as a number of other related offences.

They have also arrested a 14 year old male and charged him with second degree murder.

The youth can’t be identified because they are underage.

 

Homicide investigators are asking for the publics help in locating the third suspect in this murder case. Police are looking for Joshua LeClerc, a 19 year old male.

LeClerc, is wanted for second degree murder for his alleged involvement in the death of Beardy.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of LeClerc is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
