Winnipeg Police were involved in an incident early Saturday morning, July 16, 2022, in the Daniel McIntyre area.

Around 1:10 am general patrol officers searched the area between Notre Dame and Sargent from Arlington to Maryland as Air-1 circled above.

After about 15 minutes officers descended on the 600 block of McGee Street. One person was taken into custody. A second person was arrested nearby.

News 4 reached out to police but they were unable to provide any information on the incident.
