On Friday March 6, 2020 Manitoba First Nations Police were sent to a disturbance at the Keeshkeemaquah Conference and Gaming Centre just before 12:30 am.
According to witnesses three males were trying to fight.
As officers arrived the three men took.
A patrol of the area and were able to locate two of the suspects. Once again the suspect took off and officers pursued on foot.
Officers were able to catch one of the suspects and a short time later arrested the second.
A search of the first male uncovered cocaine and bear spray. Police also learned that the suspect had breached his court orders.
A 19-year-old from Long Plain First Nation was charged for his alleged involvement with three counts of Fail to Comply with Release Orders, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
The second suspect, 21 from Long Plain faces charges for his alleged involvement of Failing to Comply with his Release Order.
Both accused were detained in custody.
