Just after 7:45 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017, RCMP were called to a report of an ATV rollover just south of Ile Des Chenes.
A 53-year-old man and a 36-year-old man, both from Alberta were taken to hospital after they had been ejected from a side by side ATV.

Police believe that the ATV was heading north in a ditch running beside the old Highway 59. It rolled and both occupants were ejected suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say that speed and alcohol may have played a factor in the single vehicle rollover. Neither men were wearing helmets and police do not know if seatbelts were in use.
The investigation is continuing.
