Two additional cases of COVID-19 identified Friday afternoon

Late Friday afternoon, June 19, 2020, Manitoba Public Health announced that there are two additional cases of COVID-19 identified in Manitoba.

The province had previously announced one case earlier today.

Public Health says that both additional cases are from the Southern Health Region and are a male and female in their 50s.

One of the individuals had gone to JT’s Store and Diner in Blumenort, Manitoba on June 10, 2020, at approximately 6:00 pm. The person was symptomatic at the time.

Public health advises that anyone who was at that location at time should seek testing if they become symptomatic.

Officials reiterated once again that if you feel ill, even if only a little unwell to stay home.
