Turnout for advanced voting in the Provincial Election higher than in 2016

Elections Manitoba says that 112,983 voters have exercised their rights and cast ballots during the advanced polls in the 2019 Provincial General Election.

Manitobans were given the opportunity to vote in more than 300 locations across the province over an eight day period ending on Thursday September 5, 2019.

In 2016 about 110,000 voted in advanced polls.

409 absentee votes and 213 homebound votes have also been cast so far in this election.

Election day is next Tuesday, September 10, 2019 where those who have not already voted can choose their preferred candidate.

Polls open at 8:00 am and will close at 8:00 pm.
