Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Houde Drive just after 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the basement of a two-storey duplex. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 8:27 pm.
The occupants in the home were able to get out before emergency crews arrived on the scene. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
