Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a two-storey home in the 500 block of Langside Street Tuesday afternoon.
Smoke was coming from the structure as firefighters arrived. An offensive attack was launched and the blaze was under control 30 minutes after it started.
A search of the building found no one inside. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
