A business in Carman has a new drive-thru window, even though it was unwanted.
RCMP report that just after 10:00 am on Tuesday June 13, 2017 an 86 year old man drove his Ford F150 through the wall of a business.
The driver was trying to avoid a vehicle that was parked extremely close to him. He accidentally stepped on the gas rather than the brake while reversing and inadvertently place the truck in drive. The vehicle went forward with enough force to push through the wall.
No one was injured in the vehicle or in the business although damage to the truck and building is extensive.
Police say the man is not facing any charges in relation to the accident.
