Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision at the corner of Corydon Avenue and Stafford Street just after 6:30 pm on Sunday March 28, 2021.
When crews arrived they found one vehicle with extensive front end damage and a Mazda pickup truck that had rolled coming to rest on the driver’s side.
Witnesses tell News 4 that the pickup truck was traveling northbound on Stafford Street when the collision occurred. The driver and the passenger in the truck were able to get themselves out of the vehicle before crews arrived and did not appear to be seriously injured. The driver of the other vehicle also did not appear to be seriously injured.
Winnipeg Police closed the northbound lane of Stafford St and the westbound lane of Corydon Avenue around the intersection while they investigated.
