Monday night was a surprise for one driver when his pickup broke through the ice on the Red River just north of Lockport.
RCMP say no one was injured in the mishap.
Ice conditions throughout Southern Manitoba are becoming unstable due to the recent wave of mild weather.
Manitoba Conservation Officers Association is warning people to stay off the ice.
