TRIPLE HOMICIDE IN SELKIRK, TWO MEN ONE WOMAN DEAD

 

 

Possible Murder-Suicide

 

 

 

 

Selkirk RCMP are on scene after they received multiple reports Monday, April 3, 2017 that shots had been fired in East Selkirk.

It happened just after 7:00 pm in this bedroom community just north of Winnipeg. When police arrived they found two men and one woman dead outside a home on Cooks Cove.

RCMP Sgt. Paul Manaigre said “This is a tragic incident for everyone involved. The victims have been identified and the family has been notified.”

Police say that they do not believe there is a risk to the public. Police would not confirm that the incident was a murder-suicide but they did confirm that “no suspect is believed to be at large.” 

RCMP Serious Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit continue to process the scene.
