An attack on a Winnipeg Transit supervisor has resulted in three males being charged with assault say Winnipeg Police.
On Thursday, August 23, 2018, around 8:00 pm and adult male and two male youths got on a bus at Portage Avenue and Colony Street. One of the males did not have enough money for the fare. A transit supervisor on the bus told the male that the fair had not been paid in full. All three males became “verbally aggressive” prompting the supervisor to ask them to leave the bus.

At this point. the three males began assaulting the supervisor and in the process dragged him off the bus. The suspects continued to assault the supervisor on the street.
Winnipeg Police and Cadets came upon the assault and intervened placing the suspects under arrest.
The supervisor was taken to hospital in stable condition.
The three suspects were released on a promise to appear in court.
