Winnipeg Transit’s reloadable peggo card is now available for full and youth fare passengers to purchase and start using. Senior peggo cards were available earlier in the summer.

The reloadable cards are designed to make it easier for transit riders using the system by just tapping the card against the card reader on transit fireboxes. It will eventually replace the paper tickets and passes. During the launch period existing tickets and passes can be used.

For a limited time when riders purchase their peggo card, register it, and use it within 90 days of purchase, the $5 cost of the card will be refunded as e-cash on the card.
