Investigators with the Winnipeg Police Service are looking for a male suspect in connection to an assault and robbery on a Winnipeg Transit bus on September 10, 2021.
Police say that around 1:30 pm a female in her 20s was on the city bus when another passenger grabbed her phone. When the victim attempted to get her phone back she was assaulted by the male suspect. The victim was treated for her injuries in hospital.
The suspect got off the bus near McPhillips Street and Burrows Avenue. He is described as being in his 30s with a medium build.
