Chevrier Boulevard and Clarence Avenue were closed due to a collision between a train and a pickup truck for just over an hour on Thursday afternoon.
It happened just after 1:00 pm on January 4, 2018.
Although Winnipeg Police did not go to the scene they did send out notification of traffic disruptions in the area.
CN Police are responsible for investigating collisions involving trains on tracks belonging to them.

The driver of the pickup was taken to hospital by paramedics in stable condition with what are described as minor injuries. The vehicle, a Ford F-150, belonged to Thermëa and according to CN Rail, the train struck the truck around 1:00 pm. They say that the warning equipment at the crossing was on and functioning properly at the time of the accident.
The CN Police continue to investigate.
