Brandon Police have arrested two people in connection to drug trafficking late Saturday night, June 22, 2019
Poice say that just before midnight they pulled over a vehicle that had expired license plates. As the officer approached the vehicle it sped away. Police followed and about five
A K-9 unit was called in and tracked the female. She was arrested shortly afterwards.
The male passenger was arrested just outside the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle uncovered about nine ounces of crystal meth, Oxycodone, Tylenol 3 and Gabapentin.
The 24-year-old female has been charged with Possession of Controlled Substances for the purpose of Trafficking, Flight from Police and Obstruction Police Officer.
The 29-year-old male is facing a charge of Possession of Controlled Substances for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Both suspects were detained in custody.
