Three adult males are facing criminal charges after police found drugs and weapon during a traffic stop on Monday night, November 29, 2021.
According to police a vehicle was stopped near Edison Avenue and Henderson Highway around 9:30 pm for a Highway Traffic Act infraction. When officers approached the vehicle they saw a machete and drug packaging materials inside the vehicle. The three male occupants were taken into custody and a search of the vehicle uncovered 14.25 grams of crack cocaine.
The occupants aged 19, 21 and 23 are all facing weapons and drug-related charges for their alleged involvement.
All three were released on appearance notices as mandated by the criminal code.
