On November 8, 2016, just before 6:30 am RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on the Perimeter Highway just near Gunn Road.
Police say that an eastbound car crossed the median and slammed into a westbound vehicle.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 26 year old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The driver of the westbound vehicle, a 42 year old man sustained no injuries. The two men were the only people in the cars.
At this point in the investigation police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the collision. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
RCMP continue to investigate.
