Manitoba’s police watchdog agency the Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) has completed an investigation into allegations that a male suffered a serious injury during an April 2022, arrest.
Alleged injuries caused by an off-duty police officer under investigation
Following the investigation, the civilian director of the IIU has determined that there are reasonable grounds to believe a criminal offence occurred.
Const. Evan Fehr, Const. Barry Knudsen and Const. Tyler Rahn has each been issued a summons to appear in a Winnipeg Provincial Court for Assault Cause Bodily Harm.
