Winnipeg Police Service has arrested three teens after they allegedly assaulted an adolescent male near McLeod Avenue and Louelda Street on May 7, 2023.

Investigators say that the suspects went to a home in the area armed with a baseball bat where they assaulted the the victim and robbed him of his property. The victim suffered severe injuries during the assault and was taken to the hospital in unstable condition. The victim is expected to fully recover.

On May 11, 2023 three suspects were arrested by police.

A 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old female have been charged with Assault for their alleged involvement. They were released on an Undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.

A 16-year-old male has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Robbery for his alleged involvement. He was detained in custody.

Police say that no other arrests are anticipated and that the investigation has now concluded.
