Three robbery suspects in custody, one man still at large

Three men are facing robbery-related charges after they allegedly stole construction tools from an enclosed trailer in the 400 block of Ferry Road.

It happened on May 13, 2023, around 9:45 am. Police say that a 39-year-old man interrupted four males in the process of stealing. The suspects fled in a waiting vehicle before police arrived on the scene. As the thieves were attempting to make their escape they narrowly missed hitting the victim with their vehicle. The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.

A couple of hours later, officers patrolling in the first 100 block of Westgrove Way found the suspect vehicle and arrested three men inside.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and a linked residence and were able to recover approximately $30,000.00 in stolen property.

Tyler Royden Paul Vieira, 25, Has been charged for his alleged involvement with:

  •  Robbery
  • Theft Over $5,000
  • Operation of a Conveyance While Prohibited by Order Under Criminal Code
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Cocaine

31-year-old Jessie Robin Smith and 35-year-old Jesse Elijah James Young were charged for their alleged involvements with Robbery, Theft Over $5,000 and Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Cocaine.

All three accused were detained in custody. The fourth suspect has yet to be located.
