RCMP in Norway House say that three men were arrested and charged after officers found more than 70 fake IDs, a large amount of cash, multiple cellphone and pepper spray inside their vehicle.
On Thursday August 6, 2020 police were called after the men had gone through a COVID-19 checkpoint in the community. Police said they were told the men did not appear to know where they were going and had refused to answer multiple question.
RCMP located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

Beni Gileza, 23, from Chateauguay, QC, has been charged for his alleged involvement with 31 counts of Identity Theft, Identify Fraud three counts of Possession of a forged Document, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Weapon, three counts of Fail to Comply.
Wesnerlens Jordonne, 22, from Mercier, QC, has been charged for his alleged involvement with 31 counts of, Identity Theft, Identify Fraud, two counts of Possession of a forged Document, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized possession of Weapon
Sekou Toure, 19, from Chateauguay, QC, has been charged for his alleged involvement with 31 counts of Identity Theft, Identify Fraud, two counts of Possession of a forged Document, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized possession of Weapon and two counts of Fail to Comply.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to RCMP at (204) 359-6483.
